Paneer cubes with schezwan sauce.
This is an Indo-Chinese inspired dish, combining the flavor of schezwan with Indian paneer. It can be enjoyed with rice or roti, but overall it is a spicy and tasty meal! Click here to learn how to make your own schezwan sauce.
Serves 4 people.
Ingredients:
1 cup cubed paneer
1/2 onion sliced thinly
1/2 bell pepper sliced thinly
1 tomato diced into small pieces
1 tbsp ketchup
1 tbsp schezwan sauce
1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
1 tsp coriander-cumin powder
1/2 tsp garam masala (optional)
2 tbsp oil
salt to taste
Method:
Shallow fry panner cubes in oil. Set aside.
In the same oil, fry onions and ginger-garlic paste until golden brown.
Add bell peppers and sauté until soft.
Add tomatoes and sauté for 2 minutes until soft.
Add coriander-cumin powder, salt, and garam masala if using.
Add ketchup and schezwan sauce and mix well.
Add paneer cubes, mix, and cook covered for 2 minutes.
Serve with side of choice.
