Also known as potato curry for rava idli.
Serves 4 people.
Ingredients:
2 onions, chopped
2 potatoes
2-3 green chilis
2 tbsp chopped cilantro
1 tbsp chopped curry leaves
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tbsp freshly grated coconut
1 tsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp grated ginger or ginger paste
1/2 tsp jeera (cumin seeds)
1/2 tsp mustard seeds
1 tbsp cashew pieces
2 tbsp oil
salt to taste
Method:
Peel and chop potatoes into cubes. Then, boil potatoes until soft.
Heat oil in pan and temper mustard seeds, jeera, and cashew pieces.
Fry onions, ginger, and chopped green chilis.
Add boiled potatoes, coconut, salt, and turmeric. Mix well until combined.
Garnish with chopped cilantro, curry leaves, and lemon juice.
Serve hot with rava idli.
