A tasty chutney for sandwiches!
Chutney made out of coriander leaves, or cilantro, is a very popular dip for not only sandwiches, but all street foods. It brings a unique taste and flavor to the dish and can also be a way to marinate meats.
Ingredients:
2 bunches of coriander leaves (cilantro)
2 sprigs of mint leaves
2 green chilis
1 inch ginger piece
1 whole lemon, juiced
a pinch of black salt (optional)
1 tbsp sev
salt to taste
Method:
Blend all of the ingredients into a smooth paste, adding a couple of ice cubes and a little water to make chutney consistency.
