Nutritious roti that can be enjoyed with a multitude of different curries.
I started making stuffed rotis with various vegetables to encourage my children to eat their veggies. Later, even when my children have grown up, I have incorporated this recipe into everyday cooking.
This recipe yields 6 rotis.
Ingredients:
1 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup grated carrot
1 small, finely chopped green chili
1 teaspoon of warm oil
1/2 cup water
salt to taste
Method:
Fold grated carrot and green chili into flour.
Add salt to taste and warm oil.
Mix and knead thoroughly, adding water to form a dough
Leave dough covered for 10 minutes.
Make rotis!
Enjoy with curry of choice.
